Grant County Library Starts Adult Reading Program
The Grant County Public Library’s adult reading program began Monday, March 3, with the theme of Adventure Begins at Your Library.
Adult readers will be given a registration slip with each book or CD book read and returned during the program. A Reader of the Week will be drawn each week and awarded a prize.
The eight week program continues through Saturday, April 26.
Registration is now open for three upcoming programs. They are Puzzle Adventure Competition, Crafty Creations with Cheryl and Coin Collection Presentation. The Puzzle Adventure Competition will be on Wednesday, March 26, at 2 p.m. Crafty Creations sessions will be on Thursdays, March 13 and 27, and April 10 and 24. A Coin Collection Presentation will be hosted on Thursday, April 10. Registration is needed, so stop in or call the library to sign up.
The library also has on-going programs, such as the adult coloring group that meets every Thursday at 1 p.m. and Calling All Artists, which meets on Fridays at 1 p.m. There is no registration required for these events.
Attendance at any of the adult programs during the eight weeks, qualifies the patrons for a chance at a prize drawing. A winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the program and will recieve a $25 cash card.
