English Classes Begin September 19 at Local Library
Registration is open for the Grant County Public Library’s upcoming English language learners classes for adults. Classes are free to all participants.
An afternoon and evening session will be offered in a 12 week block. Evening classes begin on Tuesday, September 19, and will run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Afternoon classes begin on Wednesday, September 20, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Each class period will provide a beginner level, as well as a level for those with basic English language experience. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
The English language learners program is sponsored by a donation from Whetstone Valley Electric Cooperative and a matching fund grant from CoBank.
Individuals can sign up for classes by calling the library at 605-432-6543 or stopping by during regular hours. The library is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
