County Treasurer Announces
New Office Hours
The South Dakota Department of Revenue’s motor vehicle division launched a new title and vehicle registration system, dubbed 605Drive, on Monday, February 17.
As a result of the new system’s implementation, officials in county treasurer offices across the state are asking patrons for patience as the staff members learn the new system.
In an attempt to provide the best service to Grant County residents conducting business in the local treasurer’s office new hours were announced on Friday, February 21, by Karla DeVaal, Grant County treasurer.
The office staff can conduct business weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The office is open through the traditional lunch hour to accommodate patrons, but closes from 1 to 2 p.m. to allow staff time to have their lunch break, DeVaal noted.
“We ask that everyone please be patient with us as we learn the new system that was recently implemented by the state,” DeVaal said.
