The Grant County Public Library in Milbank will offer a new book box subscription service beginning in January. Open to adults, this program will offer the user the option to pick up a staff-selected book once a month.
The program is ideal for people who don’t know what to read or don’t want to take the time to pick something out. By letting someone else pick out a book, the reader can expand his or her horizons.
Sign up is open now and should be completed by January 14. Participants will be asked to complete an easy registration slip so the staff can pick an appropriate book. The book will then be ready to be picked up from the circulation desk on January 15.
The book should be returned to the library inside the subscription box, either at the circulation desk or in the book drop. The due date for the box and book will be February 10.
Anyone wishing to continue the book box subscription service, can simply complete the survey enclosed in the subscription book box. The next book box subscription will again be available for pickup on the 15th of each month and due date will be the 10th of the following month.
