AND CALL FOR BIDS

MILBANK LEGION FIELD

DUGOUT BENCHES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Milbank, Grant County, South Dakota will receive sealed competitive bids for the Legion Field Dugout Benches.

All supplies will be delivered to 512 Flynn Drive, Milbank, SD 57252 no later than April 1, 2023.

Dugout Benches shall be a two-tiered player bench, major league style with upper and lower level seating. Decking and backrest shall be of spike-resistant composite decking material.

Benches shall be 7’6” in length, have an approximate seat height of 17-1/4”, seat depth of 15-1/4”, and no more than an overall bench depth of 30 inches. Benches may be freestanding or attached to a back wall.

The Lump Sum Bid shall include freight to the delivery location and include a quantity of 8 benches.

No bid or performance security is required.

Bids may be entered on individual company letterhead or quote sheets.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:15 a.m., CDT, on Friday, September 2, 2022, at the City Offices, 1001 East 4th Avenue, Suite 301, Milbank, SD 57252. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. No bids will be received after the specified hour and date.

Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as Bid for Legion Field Dugout Benches. The envelope should also bear on the outside, the name and address of the Bidder.

Bids may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening them. The City of Milbank reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularities as deemed to be in the best interest of Milbank, South Dakota.
