Slated as Fundraising Event
Those who wish to support the It Only Takes a Spark organization despite the lack of a traditional cancer walk this year, can do so through an upcoming online auction.
Many items available in the auction are featured in an ad in this issue of the Grant County Review or can be viewed at the website 32auctions. There will be 118 items offered on the auction, which is open from July 10 to 17. Those who purchase will be asked to pick up their items on Saturday, July 18.
In addition to the online auction, members of the cancer walk core committee are also planning a luminary event on Friday, July 24, at the Milbank High School parking lot. The luminary event will include a drive-through to-go meal option from 5 to 7 p.m. and open walking to view the luminaries from 7 p.m. to midnight.
Luminary orders and donations can be mailed to It Only Takes a Spark, P.O. Box 105, Milbank, SD 57252. A luminary order form was printed in the June 17 issue of The Review.
