The Big Stone City School District’s Board of Education met in a regular session on April 20, 2020 at 6:30 PM in the school cafeteria with the following members present or absent:

Anne Lester, Learning Center Director/Teacher
Erin Julius, Teacher/Negotiator Representative
Meeting called to order by President Jennifer Wiik at 6:30 PM.
Roll call was taken with, Hillary Henrich, Sue Westermeyer and Jennifer Wiik present. Quorum established. Andria Rabe and Amy VanLith were absent.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Motion by Westermeyer, seconded by Henrich, to approve the proposed agenda. 3 votes yes. Motion Carried.

• Next School Board Meeting(s): proposed May 18, 2020 at@ 6:30 PM (Regular Meeting) in the cafeteria due to COVID-19 social distancing procedures.
7:32 PM, motion by Westermeyer, seconded by Henrich, to enter into executive session pursuant to SDCL 1-25-2(4) for certified staff negotiations. 3 votes yes. Motion Carried.
President Wiik declared the board out of executive session at 7:41 PM with the following motion being taken:
Motion by Henrich, seconded by Westermeyer, to approve the 2020-2021 Negotiations Memorandum of Understanding. 3 votes yes. Motion Carried. 
Motion by Westermeyer, seconded by Henrich, to adjourn the meeting at 7:42 PM. 3 votes yes. Motion Carried.
