Big Stone Library Begins Winter Reading Program
The staff at the Big Stone City branch of the Grant County Public Library is beginning the adult winter reading program, entitled Winter Reading Wonderland.
The program is open to library patrons age 18 and older and runs from Wednesday, January 8, through March 8.
To participate in the program, register at the library or email bsclibrary12@hotmail.com. Each person who registers will receive a free pocket-sized notebook to use for writing in the book titles or use as they wish.
Patrons will check out books and audiobooks from the Big Stone City Branch Library or download E-books and audio books from Libby through Grant County Library System to participate.
Readers will be entered for a weekly prize, with one opportunity per book read and returned to the library.
Patrons will need to keep track of the books they read during the eight-week program. Those who read more than 20 books will earn an additional prize. All e-book readers need to show the book title on their e-reader to the librarian for that book to qualify for the drawing.
The library is inside the south door of the community center at 400 Washington St., Big Stone City.
