** Addition: There will be a Memorial Day program at the Labolt Cemetery at 9:30 a.m. and Tabor Lutheran Church (Strandburg) at 10:30 a.m.
 
 
 
 
Two Memorial Day programs are planned for the morning of Monday, May 29, in Milbank. 
There will be an 8 a.m. mass at the St. Lawrence Cemetery. At 9 a.m., Fr. Gary DeRouchey will speak, the memorial wreaths will be posted and an all unit firing squad will complete a salute to the dead. 
The program in the Milbank City Cemetery will begin at 10 a.m. with the posting of the colors by  military organizations and their auxiliaries, including the Birch-Miller Post 9 American Legion and Auxiliary, the Grant County VFW Post 3486 and Auxiliary, the 740th Transportation Company, the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 19 and the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1054. 
Commander Noel Cummins will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. The featured speaker will be Denny Brenden, national executive committeeman and past department commander and department adjutant. 
Memorial wreaths will be posted and an all unit firing squad will perform a salute to the dead. 
The eighth grade band with members of the high school band will play The Star-Spangled Banner and other patriotic pieces.  
Events will be conducted in the Milbank High School Armory in the case of inclement weather.  
In Revillo, the American Legion Auxiliary will conduct services beginning with the laying of the wreaths at the cemetery at 9 a.m., followed by a program with featured speaker Rob Andresen at the community center. Rolls, coffee and juice will be served. In case of rain, the laying of the wreaths will be conducted at the community center.
