Socktober Drive Slated to Collect Warm Donations

Socktober Drive
Members of the South Dakota Highway Patrol, Milbank Police Department and Grant County Sheriff’s Office have organized socktober. The event allows the public to donate new socks, gloves, mittens, hats and coats to local families in need.
The socktober event will be on Friday, November 6, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Milbank Visitor Center on East Highway 12. Those who stop by during that time can also take a good look at the officers’ vehicles.
