County Combined Appeal Short of Fundraising Goal

A little more than a week remains in the 59th annual Grant County Combined Appeal campaign. The drive has raised $155,674 toward its goal of $183,000.
“It is our hope that you will consider a donation to help the 18 agencies that have requested aid from our county,” said Craig Wellnitz, coordinator. “We are counting on your support to meet our 2020 goal. Remember that all dollars raised stay in Grant County!”
Individuals can designate which agency receives their donation. The agencies that have applied for this year’s campaign are as follows:
In Health and Human Service Agencies – Grant County ARC; Grant County Diabetes & Heart Fund; ICAP 60s Plus Dining Program; NEGL American Red Cross; Salvation Army; Milbank Community Transit; Inter-Lakes Community Action Partnership (ICAP); Unity Square Charitable Membership
In Education – Grant County Child Protection Team; Imagination Library; Big Stone City Out of School Time (OST)
In Youth Development – Milbank Boy Scout Troop 45; Milbank Girl Scouts; Milbank Area Lions Swim Team; Milbank Ball Diamond Association; Milbank Recreation Programs; Milbank Area Community Tennis Assoc. (MACTA); Milbank High School Clay Target Team
Again our thanks go out to you for your continued support,” said Wellnitz. “This is not just about giving to people you know…it is about giving for those you don’t know and feeling good about it! The phrase of People Helping People is truly alive in Grant County and we thank everyone for being a part of it!”
